SERVICE, RETURNS, & WARRANTY POLICY HOUSTONTECHGUYS LLC

This Service, Returns, and Warranty Policy explains how Houstontechguys LLC (“Houstontechguys,” “HTG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles services, cancellations, refunds, warranties, and customer satisfaction. This policy applies to all on-site, remote, and consulting services provided by Houstontechguys LLC.

By scheduling or receiving services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

• QUICK SUMMARY

Returns: Not accepted. All services and labor are non-returnable.
Exchanges: Not offered.
Refunds: Not provided for any service or labor once work has begun.
Hardware: If hardware is supplied by HTG, manufacturer warranty applies; HTG will assist with warranty support when applicable.
Cancellations (before dispatch): Free to cancel or reschedule prior to technician dispatch.
Dispatch / On-Site Minimum: Once a technician is dispatched or on site, a one-hour minimum is billed.
After-Hours / Weekends: Billed at published after-hours or emergency rates.

• NO RETURNS ON SERVICES

Houstontechguys LLC provides professional IT services, including diagnostics, configuration, repair, installation, consulting, and remote support. Because services involve professional time, expertise, and real-time results, completed services cannot be returned or refunded.

• SERVICES & LABOR (NON-REFUNDABLE)

All services are final once performed, including but not limited to:

• On-site visits
• Remote support sessions
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Software installations and configurations


• Data recovery and consulting services

If an issue reoccurs within seven (7) calendar days and is directly related to the original service, Houstontechguys LLC may, at its discretion, recheck the same issue at a discounted diagnostic rate or provide guidance on next steps. This is a satisfaction recheck, not a refund.

Customers are responsible for disclosing all important data, files, settings, or requirements before service begins, including but not limited to emails, Outlook contacts, browser favorites, photos, documents, or other files requiring backup or restoration.

Any additional time required to recover, restore, or configure undisclosed data or settings is billable.

• LIMITED WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS

Houstontechguys LLC warrants the quality of its workmanship and proper installation of software or hardware it provides, subject to the limitations below.

Software Installations
If software installed by HTG (for example, Malwarebytes) becomes unusable due to software failure, reinstallation of that same software is covered at no charge.

Windows Installations
If a Windows installation performed by HTG becomes corrupted within thirty (30) days, reinstallation of the Windows operating system is covered at no charge for the software itself. Any additional labor required for data backup, restoration, reconfiguration, or application setup is billable at standard rates.

Hardware
All new hardware supplied by HTG is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Houstontechguys LLC will assist with warranty claims or RMA processing when applicable but does not control manufacturer outcomes. Warranty coverage does not include data recovery, file restoration, reconfiguration, or work outside the original scope of service.

• CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS

Before Dispatch
Clients may cancel or reschedule at no charge if a technician has not yet been dispatched.

After Dispatch / On-Site
Once a technician is en route or on site, a one-hour minimum charge applies.

No Access / No-Show
If service cannot be completed due to lack of access, incorrect address, unsafe conditions, or client unavailability, the one-hour minimum charge still applies.

• PRICING & BILLING NOTES

Pricing for services is provided via quote, estimate, service agreement, or invoice.

Invoices are issued after service completion and may be paid securely online. A valid email address is required for invoicing.

• CUSTOMER SATISFACTION & ISSUE REVIEW

If you believe an issue was not resolved, please contact:

Include your invoice number and a brief description of the concern. If the issue is the same root cause and reported within seven (7) days, HTG will review the matter and propose a recheck or next steps at its discretion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
No. Services and labor are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Hardware supplied by HTG is covered by manufacturer warranty only.

Can I receive a refund if the fix didn’t hold?
Refunds are not offered once work begins. If the same issue returns within seven (7) days, HTG may recheck and advise next steps.

What if I cancel after booking?
Cancellations are free before dispatch. Once a technician is en route or on site, the one-hour minimum applies.

Do you guarantee parts?
New parts supplied by HTG are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We assist with warranty claims when applicable.

What if I forgot to mention files or settings that needed backup?
Clients are responsible for disclosing all data and settings before service begins. Additional work required afterward is billable.

Is data recovery covered under warranty?
No. Data recovery, backups, and file restoration are separate services billed independently. Warranty coverage applies only to reinstallation or correction of the same software or hardware originally installed.
